This double premium offering includes two items. 1) Mickey Mantle's Big League Game features a detailed (4.5x11.25") card with results that correspond to the roll of two dice. For example, one result is a home run over the left field fence. Another result is a foul out to third base, etc. There is a photo of Mantle batting on the card. The game is played by using dice (not included). Rules for the game are included. 2) The 1947-1961 Exhibit Supply 1 Cent advertising panel measures 4.25x11.25" and consists of card stock with the front of three player exhibit cards on the front of the advertising card. Exhibit photo fronts attached to the card stock: Ed Lopat, Dale Mitchell, and Mickey Mantle. Lopat was a star left-handed pitcher for the New York Yankees. Dale Mitchell was a good hitting outfielder, in a Cleveland Indians uniform on the advertisement, and best remembered as the final out of Don Larsen's perfect World Series game. The Mickey Mantle exhibit front is the star part of this display. Mantle was still in the peak part of his Hall of Fame career when this advertisement was issued. His challenge to Babe Ruth's season record of 60 homers was still ahead. In this time period (1957-59), exhibit cards were losing ground and they would soon fade from the scene, leaving the remaining cards, and these advertising displays, more valuable.
