When the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame had its grand opening on June 30,1985, in Springfield, Massachusetts, in attendance were future Hall of Famers Michael Jordan and Julius Erving. Now Jordan is often referred to as the Greatest of All Time (GOAT), but back in 1985 he had just finished his rookie NBA campaign with the Chicago Bulls. Down the road would be Jordan's part as a leader of the Bulls' amazing Three-Peat as NBA Champions, a feat the team accomplished twice. No one could dream that the film documentary The Last Dance would help to drive the Jordan legend higher than ever. Julius Erving was the NBA superstar of his era, a 6'7" forward who helped to keep the ABA afloat until some of their teams merged with the NBA in 1976. Erving was known for his acrobatic dunks for the Virginia Squires of the ABA and the New York Nets and Philadelphia 76ers of the NBA. This 13.75" x 8.5" paper placemat was signed twice by Michael Jordan, once on the front and again on the back. Also signing on the front is Erving and also signing o the back is Micheal Ray Richardson, a high scoring guard for the New York Knicks. The placemat shows visible paper loss in a number of areas. Included is a PSA Letter of Authenticity.

Note to editor: Richardson spells his name as Micheal Ray Richardson - an unusual spelling in that the letters "E" and "A" in his first name Micheal are reversed from the usual spelling.
