Original film negative capturing Hall of Fame second baseman Nap Lajoie as a member of the Cleveland Naps (the team was named after him). Lajoie is pictured posing with a bat on the sideline prior to a game. Lajoie’s last name is written on the negative along the top border. Although no year is listed, the uniform style shown here was only used by Cleveland between the years 1910 and 1914. The negative (3.5x5.5”) displays slightly wavy top and bottom borders and is otherwise in Excellent condition. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive.
