Trae Young was an incredible player in his single 2017-18 year with the Oklahoma Sooners. In that season, he became the first NCAA players to ever lead the country in points and assists in the same season as he tallied 848 points with 271 assists. He was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks as the NBA's overall fifth pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, but then soon traded to the Alanta Hawks for Luka Doncic and a protected future first round draft choice. A point guard, Young is small at 6'1" and 180 lbs. and he shows great court vision. He can hit long threes or drive into the paint. He averaged 19'1 PPG and 8.1 APG in his rookie season and made the 2019 All-NBA Rookie First Team. He was a 2019-2020 NBA All -Star.
