Collection of 29 vintage baseball photographs taken by noted baseball photographer Charles Conlon, each capturing an individual Major League player. All but two bear either Conlon's credit stamp or his handwritten name on the reverse (the other two feature his handwritten player identifiers). All the players are identified in Conlon's handwriting on the reverse with the exception of one. Based upon the team affiliations, it appears that the vast majority of the photos were taken between the years 1910 and 1919. Fourteen of the photos are approximately 7.5x10", six are approximately 4x5", and nine are approximately 6.5x4.75". Nearly all display flaws common to working press photos, including, but not limited to, creases, edge tears, tack holes, and editorial shading and outlining to the player images. In Good to Very Good condition overall. The players featured here are  Elmer Knetzer (Brooklyn), Frank Allen (Brooklyn), Joe Boehling (Washington), Benny Kauff (Brooklyn Feds), Heinie Zimmerman (Chicago Cubs), Charlie Hall (Boston Red Sox), Ed Reulbach (Brooklyn), Everett Scott (Boston Red Sox) Steve Yerkes (Boston Red Sox), Tommy Leach (Chicago Cubs), Otto Knabe (Pittsburgh), Braggo Roth (Chicago White Sox), Frank Gilhooley (New York Yankees), Steve Evans (Brooklyn Feds), Jack Graney (Cleveland), Red Murray (New York Giants), Pants Rowland (two different images; both with the Chicago White Sox), Paul Strand (Boston Braves), Bill Donovan (New York Yankees), Jack Warhop (New York Yankees), Brad Kocher (Detroit), Whitey Witt (Philadelphia A's), Lew Wendell (New York Giants), Chuck Wortman (Chicago Cubs), Bobby Veach (Detroit), Johnny Rawlings (Boston Braves), Joseph Myers (Philadelphia A's), and one other (unidentified). While we believe most, if not all, are period photos, none have been submitted to PSA, so no guarantees are made regarding specific Type designations.
