The Super Bowl XXXIV MVP who threw for a SB record 414 yards + 2TDs in 2000 returned for Super Bowl XXXVI, only to be defeated by Tom Brady & the New England Patriots. White mesh St. Louis Rams home jersey worn for the Super Bowl XXXVI Pre-Game. With the Super Bowl XXXVI patch in the shape of the United States on left shoulder, jersey bears his #13 on front, back & shoulders. Small “Rams” patch just below the official NFL patch on front of collar. Rams head patch on each sleeve. The St. Louis Rams uniforms were manufactured by Reebok in 2001 & 2002. However, this one is manufactured by Puma from 2000. Warner, under contract from Puma, was required to wear their jersey when seen on TV or print, but wears Reebok during the games. Note that the letters on the jersey have rounded edges (a practice started in 2001) as opposed to the square edges used the previous year, but the tagging in the collar states “00-48” for the year 2000. Tagging on front tail is “Puma NFL” with “6” L.B.” & [size] 48 flag tags. Available is a copy of The Sporting News (September, 2002 issue) with Kurt Warner on the cover wearing a Puma uniform.
