Rare, high-grade ticket stub from Wilt Chamberlain’s 100 Point game on March 2, 1962. Graded VG 3 by PSA (submitted by Lelands). This is one of only 14 examples of this ticket stub listed in the PSA Population. Only three are graded at this level, with just one graded higher.

The low population report is not surprising, as only 4,124 fans attended the game. Given their rarity, it appears few stubs were saved despite Chamberlain's record-setting performance. This is just the second we have ever offered. Not surprisingly, the ticket originates from the same source as the first we sold, which was just featured in our recent MINT 25 auction. Our consignor attended the game with his parents and in addition to saving two ticket stubs, he also saved a program from the game, which was signed by Chamberlain on that day. The signed program and one of the ticket stubs (also graded VG 3 by PSA) appeared as Lot 3 in the MINT 25 auction, realizing a final price of $137,521.

Wilt Chamberlain’s 100-Point game is still talked about today as the greatest feat ever performed on the hardwood, sometimes in mythical tones when one considers that the three-point line wasn’t adopted by the NBA until 1979. This ticket stub commemorates that historic achievement and represents what many consider the most significant basketball ticket in the hobby. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to obtain one of the highest-graded examples of this iconic relic on the 60th anniversary of the historic event. The ticket stub measures 1.75x1.5".
