Brooklyn Dodgers mound ace Whit Wyatt makes his pitch for Chesterfield Cigarettes in this colorful cardboard subway sign. Wyatt is pictured in a follow-through pitching pose, with an illustrated package of Chesterfield Cigarettes pictured to his right. The the text reads "At all the Games It's Chesterfield." This sign, which was intended for display in subway cars, is much scarcer than the larger Whit Wyatt Chesterfield displays more commonly seen and represents the first such example we have offered. The sign (20.5x10.5", visible dimensions) displays a few large creases, heavy staining (mainly along the base and right border), and evidence of former restoration to some of the flaws.
