Rare women's basketball team-composite print featuring the members of the World Champion Edmonton Commercial Graduates Basketball Club of Canada, including coach J. Percy Page. All seven team members are identified in print next to their respective images. Lettering along the base reads "Photos and Color Plates by Longs Ltd. Edmonton." Under Page's tutelage, the team won 502 of 522 games over the course of three decades, including all 27 Olympic games from 1924-1936 (girls basketball was not an official Olympic sport at the time). Page was also a provincial politician and eighth lieutenant governor of Alberta (1959-1966). In 1955 he was elected to Canada's Sports Hall of Fame. The print (11.75x8.5"), which is printed on thin stock, is affixed to a larger mount. Small holes are displayed in the upper and lower left corners, as are a few small edge tears. In apparent Very Good condition overall. Matted and framed to total dimensions of 17x14".
