In his letter, on official "The White House" letterhead, Truman offers "cordial, though belated, felicitations" to Mr. and Mrs. Hirsch on the occasion of their golden wedding anniversary. Signed "Harry Truman" in black ink (9/10). The letter (7x8.5", visible dimensions) displays a horizontal fold and a few small areas of light staining. In apparent Very Good condition. Matted and framed together with the original mailing envelope (GD-VG) to total dimensions of 14.25x18.25".
