As most of his top career exploits came with the Swingin' A's, Bronx Bombers, or California Halos, it's easy to forget the Reggie Jackson spent 1976 with the Baltimore Orioles. Offered bat is beyond rare with only two or three known, and dates from the Bicentennial season. Louisville Slugger Model B298 shows nice game use with cracked handle repaired by a nail, residue from removed tape on the handle and some nice all-around use with paint transfers and some grain swelling. Reggie hit 27 of his 563 round-trippers in an O's uniform while leading the league with a .502 slugging percentage that season. Alas, he didn't get to add to his Mr. October legend as '76 was one of just two in an 11-year span in which his team failed to qualify for the post season. Graded by PSA as GU 10++++++
