Fascinating memento of the 1959 MLB All-Star Game. Clearly presented to VIPs as the stones are genuine diamonds, this was actually a pendant (as that is all that was awarded) which has been converted into a ring. Size 7.5 gem has a green baseball diamond as set stone with a brilliant large genuine diamond in the middle and four smaller diamonds representing bases. National League All Star Game and what looks like the year 1959 engraved on each side, though partially obstructed in the conversion. Left shank has 1959 while right has crossed bats and ball, no engraving is evident inside band or identifying player on ring itself. While there were two All-Star games in 1959, we're unable to determine which this ring represents as both were played in National League Cities - Pittsburgh and Los Angeles. Shows some wear, in EX condition.
