Amazing collection owned and worn by Co-Captain of the 1942 Oregon State Rose Bowl squad, Martin Chaves. 1) Heavy weight cardigan sweater with Official Oregon State College label in collar and bright orange varsity letter "O" on left chest. 2) Heavyweight sweater/jacket is gray with Wilson size 42 tags in collar, Oregon State embroidered in large orange-on-black letters on right chest, and Rose Bowl 1942 opposite. 3-4) Pair of NM tickets to January 1, 1942 Rose Bowl. Bonus content - inside one of the pockets we have come across three ticket stubs for Oregon State basketball; not surprising as Chaves remained so involved in the college's athletics program that it created a "Martin Chaves Lifetime Achievement Award" in his honor. Comes with LOA indicating that this is directly from Chaves' family.
