Original Type I photograph of Hall of Fame pitcher Grover Alexander as a member of the Philadelphia Phillies. Alexander is pictured posing on the sideline prior to a game. Six Brown Brothers credit stamps appear on the reverse, as well as a vintage handwritten notation that reads "Alexander Pitcher Philadelphia at training camp." Although no year is listed, the uniform style shown here was used by the Phillies between the years 1913 and 1917. The photo measures 5x8" and displays light creasing.
