Large and impressive team display issued in commemoration of the Shamrock Lacrosse Club's two consecutive championships in 1901 and 1902. The Shamrock Lacrosse Club was a Canadian junior men's box lacrosse team and two-time winner of the Minto Cup, which is pictured in the upper right corner of the display. (Donated by Governor-general Lord Minto in 1901, the cup was annually awarded to the champion junior men's box lacrosse team.) The display features individual portrait images of 16 team members and 12 team officials, all of whom are identified in print below their respective images. The text along the top border reads "Champions of the World 1901 & 1902 - Shamrock Lacrosse Club." The photographer's credit, "N. P. Mallette & Co. 2150 & 2151 Notre Dame Montreal," appears at the base. The composite photo measures 16x14" and is affixed to a gray mount (17.5x16"; visible dimensions). There is an area of light staining in the lower left corner of the mount that affects a tiny portion of the print, otherwise the piece is in apparent Excellent to Mint condition. Matted and framed to total dimensions of 31x27".
