An incredible collection of (31) pieces of personal correspondence including five (5) from boxer Phil Bloom and (26) from boxer Packy O'Gatty. The collection contains mostly handwritten letters and (1) Christmas card. Recipient was a prisoner in the federal prison system. The letters are in the boxers' handwriting and have signatures on bottom. Bloom was a prolific boxer from 1917-23 and appeared in 74 documented bouts. O'Gatty had a career that spanned from 1915-28 with a total of 70 bouts. The letters are in EX/EX-MT condition with strong signatures. Envelopes have been opened on the sides and are in VG-EX condition. A unique collection of boxing history from two early 20th century prolific boxers.
