Extremely rare boxing cabinet card of "Young" Stanley Ketchel with autograph in a nice framed display. Ketchel was one of the greatest Middleweight Champions in boxing history. He was born in 1886 and was tragically murdered in 1910 on his ranch in Missouri by a hired ranch hand and his female accomplice. He was only 24 and had many years of successful boxing in his future. The framed piece measures 14.5x12". The cabinet card is inscribed Yours Truly Young Ketchel and is in GD condition with some rounded corners, a 1.5" crease near the top, and scattered foxing and toning. Autograph is legible and still quite strong, frame is excellent with three (3) small dings on or near the bottom edge. An unbelievably hard to find autograph of a boxing legend whose life was cut short by a heinous crime.
