 A stunning 1907 James Jeffries boxing fan card with autograph. This vibrant colorized card is marked Copyright '07 Jas. J. Jeffries #1022. The card appears to have been a private commissioned souvenir by Jeffries and is on thick stock and is hand cut. It is signed Yours Truly Jas. J. Jeffries. Jeffries was a legendary heavyweight champion but is perhaps best known for coming out of retirement to battle Jack Johnson. Jeffries died in 1953 and his signature is highly prized by boxing collectors. The card is in EX condition and has a James Spence sticker #B26683 on reverse for authentication.
