An original 19th century pencil drawing of an unidentified bare knuckle boxer. This one-of-a-kind item measures 20.5x14.5" and is done in colored pencil on cardboard backing. The frame is glass and a metal which appears to be copper. Unfortunately the portrait is not signed nor is the subject named. The picture came with an accompanying postcard which is signed "To Ander From Peter." The postcard is in EX-MT original condition. The picture is EX with a 2-3" vertical tear near bottom. The original frame is in VG condition with some discoloration of the metal and some dings and dents in the metal. The metal has its original patina and is definitively original to the portrait.
