This scarce and spectacular panoramic photo captures Secretariat winning the 1972 Hopeful Stakes at Saratoga Race Course during his 2-year-old season. It was Secretariat's dominating five-length victory in the prestigious race that firmly established the Meadow Stable champion's reputation as a future racing star. An extremely rare find, the photo is one of less than a dozen that were hand-signed by Secretariat's illustrious late owner Penny Chenery and Hall of Fame jockey Ron Turcotte.
The photo, double-matted in an elegant brown wood frame with gold edging measuring 11x26" in total, is accompanied by a solid brass engraved halter tag plate and Certificate of Authenticity.
