Rare 1996 Takara Japanese box with (48) Unopened Orix Blue Wave team sets. Each set features 30 cards from the Orix Blue Wave including a young Ichiro. There is a total of 1440 cards including 48 Ichiro cards.
This set was issued five years prior to Ichiro's MLB debut with the Seattle Mariners. Set also contains MLB players So Taguchi, Troy Neel, and Shigetoshi Hasegawa. Cards are all in original packages and assumed to be NM or better.
