Amazing full ticket from the 1941 Kentucky Derby, best remembered for its win by the legendary Whirlaway. Orange ticket measures 5.5x2" and is untorn with some minor rounding of the corners and slight edge wear; encapsulated by PSA and presents nicer than its overall EX 5 grade. Whirlaway was the fifth ever Triple Crown winner, and he further ingrained his place in history with a following win at the Travers Stakes, making him the only horse in history to date to capture all four major races. The Hall of Fame thoroughbred set the tone for the rest of his success in the '41 Derby, besting Staretor by a dominant eight lengths, a record which still stands and was tied only by Assault in 1946. PSA encapsulated. Pop seven with only one graded higher.
