Nice pair of vintage baseball artifacts in this 1946 St. Louis Cardinals roster and schedule flyer, and 1940 Rochester Red Wings yearbook. The tri-fold flyer is packed with info including the Redbirds' full '46 schedule, with the entire center devoted to the roster with a cool twist. As World War II had ended in September of '45, players who served in the military are starred along with their entry year (20 of the 44 players, including Dick Sisler, Harry Walker, and Enos Slaughter). 1940 Rochester Red Wing Annual highlights all team personnel including future 5-time All-Star Preacher Roe. Overall condition is VG-EX; toning, minor stains, and tape residue inside front and back covers account for any deductions as staple binding is solid, all pages are intact and clear, and no tearing is evident.
