1983 Kansas City Royals signed, game worn jersey is from the final year of the colorful career of pitcher Gaylord Perry. White home button front top has script Royals across the chest, number 36 on front and back, and name in individual letters on back, all in solid royal blue. Wilson size 46 tag in neck; year tag "83" on front tail, all original with light use shown and beautifully signed across the front in 8/10 blue Sharpie. Perry's machinations on the mound before each pitch bedeviled opposing hitters trying to catch him in the act of throwing one of his famed greaseballs and, interestingly, though he has admitted his rulebreaking over his 22 MLB seasons, he remains a member in good standing of the Hall of Fame - a far cry from today's standards.
