1958 Harry Chiti game worn jersey from the Athletics' relatively brief stay in Kansas City. Heavy duty cream-colored top is button front with Set 1 No 8 58 embroidered on front tail above Wilson size 46 wash tag. Script Athletics is across the chest in red-on-navy felt, embroidered A's elephant logo patch on left sleeve, and number 8 on back in same style as front. Flannel style jersey shows nice use throughout, including some minor stains. After playing in Philadelphia from 1901-54 and before their current stint in Oakland which started in 1968, the A's spent 13 seasons in Kansas City. The Royals were then founded as an expansion team in '69. Chiti played 103 games for the A's, primarily as a catcher.
