1926 two-page typewritten letter signed by EG Goudey of the Goudey Gum company. Of course, the reason trading cards were created was to spur sales of gum or tobacco, and Goudey had some of the premier baseball inserts of the era. This letter, dated May fifth, 1926, provides a response and advice to a competitor over what appears to be a trademark issue. Both are on Goudey stationery, have mailing folds, slight tear to top of page one and foxing noted at edges particularly top of page one, but Goudey's black fountain in signature is clear and rates 7-8/10.
