This attractive 1952 championship ring was given to player William Banks of Georgia Tech the year they had an undefeated season and proceeded to win the Orange Bowl. Stamped "Balfour 10K", it weighs 26 grams and is a size 10. The ring reads in center "1885 Georgia Institute of Technology" (the school's founding and less-commonly used name) and on the sides "S.E.C. Champs" and "Orange Bowl 1952" with a embossed "T" and ruby in the center logo of the School. That '52 season was a big one for Tech as they were both SEC and INS National Champions. Ring is initialed inside "W.O.B", in EX-NM condition.
