Circa 1960s San Francisco Giants stadium banner flew at long-time home Candlestick Park. Somewhat unusual design measures just under 9' across with metal grommets at the top, yet curves in bunting-style at the ends while measuring just under 3' at its tallest point. Looks to be made from three distinct pieces with orange Giants flag with Golden Gate Bridge in background sewn to center section, which shows more wear than the end pieces; the end pieces clearly have black swatches while the center piece may have been once but displays as navy blue, possibly from the notorious whipping winds at Candlestick. Emerson Flag Mfg. Co. 3X is stamped in black behind one top corner, and the piece remains in EX condition overall, impressive considering the conditions in The Golden City.
