Wonderful photo of Babe Ruth used for production of his Goudey baseball card. PSA Type II photo measures 8x10" and is from the original negative by Charles Conlon; the photo was actually taken in 1929 but it was used in 1933 for his Goudey card. We previously sold the original glass plate negative which definitively confirmed that the shot was taken by Conlon and though this is one of a couple of Type II versions printed in the 1950s that we have come across to date, it remains scarce as no Type I versions are known to exist.
