Spectacular, crisp Official American League (Harridge) baseball serves as the perfect canvas for the signature of the man who remains synonymous with pitching brilliance, Cy Young. Signed on a side panel in 9/10 blue ballpoint ink, the stampings are somewhat faded but the ball itself could have come out of a box today, as it remains crisp and bright. Though Young's pro career ended in 1911, he remained an elite figure in the sport and this autograph is circa 1950s, not long before his passing in 1955 at age 88.
