Authentic Lakers jersey worn by Kobe Bryant on the cover of SLAM Magazine's No. 126 April 2009 issue. Gold Lakers top is from two seasons after Bryant switched from uniform number 8 to number 24 while looking for a "clean slate." NBA Adidas and size 52 tagging in collar, also has Lakers size 52 tail tag. Number is in white-on-purple tackle twill on front and back, with name in reverse colors individually sewn to the jersey. This is a stellar specimen in tremendous condition; our consignor won it in a contest and even has the email sent from SLAM Magazine. Unfortunately, the letter also mentioned a pair of matching shorts but those could not be located. Photo-matched, a magnificent tribute to the man who spent all of this 20 NBA seasons in the purple-and-gold and was posthumously inducted into the Hall of Fame with no less than Michael Jordan handling the induction duties.
