As is so often the case, Hollywood and sports are joined in this vintage trophy won by famed crooner and movie star Bing Crosby. Trophy stands 13" tall with 7x7x4" wood base and a figurine atop this is very reminiscent of that used for the Oscar Awards. Plate reads, World Entertainment Golf Championship, 1958 Championship, Third Low Gross Winner Bing Crosby. In addition to his stage and screen exploits, Bing was also well known for his passion for golf, as his Bing Crosby Pro Am - founded in 1937 - was the first tournament of its type, combining celebs and pro golfers, and still exists as the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am. In VG-EX condition, with chips noticed to the wood base and tarnish on the plate.
