For those in search of unusual collectibles, this selection of 27 Nike poster cards is likely to fit the bill. Starting in 1982, the iconic footwear company had produced a series of posters featuring unique settings for stars across many sports. Not intended for public sale, they were so popular that they were eventually mass-produced, but with the selection growing, there were too many for the wall space of most vendors. Enter this selection of 5x7" "poster cards" featuring those same images but in a more manageable size. There were a few different styles, and these is of the original with black border, hole for display, and description on back. This lot comes in the original box including display instructions card - again, only sent to stores - with 26 cards averaging NM condition. One has been pulled out and encapsulated by PSA as EX-MT 6; the 1985 issue with Michael Jordan soaring above a twilit skyline in his now-legendary "Air Jordan" pose. The Jordan in particular is a very rare offering and these have been quite a challenge to find in general.
