Perhaps not the key to the city, but this 1921 New York Giants sterling silver pass was the next best thing as it allowed the bearer access to all Giants home games. Unlike the card-style pass that is usually seen, this one is shaped like a key, with the top portion of one side bearing "1921" in a baseball surrounded by "The Giants Welcome you to the Polo Grounds - Chas A. Stoneham Pres." and "GIANTS" forming the edges of the key. The opposite is engraved with the number 208 and the recipient, "Rev. F.T. Duffy & Party." The Reverand's party must have enjoyed that '21 season, with the Giants claiming the pennant with a 94-59 record before besting the hated New York Yankees in the World Series.
