Original, one of a kind, from the camera, circa 1910s glass plate negative depicts Hall of Fame pitcher Christy Mathewson in a less familiar setting. Measuring 7x5", the scene shows Big Six either taking swings before batting practice, or hitting grounders during warm-ups in preparation for a New York Giants game.
