Wood plaque measures 20x12" with football helmet profile and plate reading, "Golden Helmet Award Presented to Jack Lambert - Most Valuable Defensive Player - K.S.U. 1973 - Akron Coca-Cola" along with an NFL logo and sponsorship note from Coca-Cola. As legend has it, Lambert was "too small" for his first choice at Miami (Ohio), so he went to nearby Kent State, paving the road to becoming one of the great legends of the sport. EX condition.
