Original 1930 one of a kind, from-the-camera glass plate negative featuring Hall of Famer Wilbert Robinson from the tail end of his managerial days with the Brooklyn Robins/Dodgers. Known as a durable catcher during his playing years, he led the Baltimore Orioles to three straight championships from 1894-96 before embarking on a lengthy managerial career. Image was taken by noted photographer Charles Conlon and has his writing on the envelope and at the top edge of the 5x7" negative. An unearthed classic from the Brown Brothers collection.
