A packed house is on hand to witness The Iron Horse at the plate in this original, from-the-camera, one of a kind, cellulose negative. Shown is the Lou Gehrig at the plate during the 1927-28 Bustin' Babe's vs. Laurapin' Lou's barnstorming tour which also featured Yankees the immortal Babe Ruth. Negative measures 5x7" and is another fun find from the Brown Brothers archive, industry pioneers in photo aggregation starting in 1904.
