Unique Type I photo is a rare image of the first Native American to win an Olympic Gold Medal, Jim Thorpe, whose sporadic career as a fan favorite with the New York Giants spanning from 1913-1918. This Brown Brothers photo has the multi-sport athlete standing with hands on hip in the outfield of the Polo Grounds adorned in his Giants Uniform. Some minor surface creasing to this otherwise excellent Type I image. Photograph measures 5x7".
