The Capitals selected Kolzig in the 1989 NHL Entry Draft and played his first NHL game in the 1989–90 season. In 2000, he won the Vezina Trophy as the NHL's best goalie after going 41–20–11 with a 2.24 GAA and five shutouts. From his days in Washington comes this Olaf Kolzig CCM “Goalie Style” jersey. This all original 1994-95 jersey is complete with CCM size 56 manufacturers tagging in the collar and CCM embroidery on the rear tail. Red, white, and blue jersey reads, "WASHINGTON CAPITALS" across the front and features a number "37" on both shoulders and on the back just below the "KOLZIG" nameplate; all in white on blue tackle twill.
