Collection of two (2) late 19th Century Boxing Stevengraphs.  Stevengraphs are pictures woven onto silk produced by Thomas Stevens in Coventry, England. The collection includes (1) silk of Jake Kilrain who fought and lost the last bare knuckled championship fight to John L Sullivan in an epic 2 hour 16 minute fight. The silk has been matted on newer cardboard and retains its paper information backing.  The backing has a 2" paper split and the left side has an abundance of glue residue. The front of the image is clean and clear with three moisture marks on the cardboard edge which do not affect the image. The collection also includes (1) silk of Charles Mitchell who twice fought John L. Sullivan, losing to him once and drawing in the other. He also lost a championship bout to James Corbett in 1894. The silk has been used as the front of a small box (poor condition) in this instance and the back condition is unknown. The front of the silk shows its age with wear and some abrasions throughout the piece.
