Mid-1910s image is as nice and as early of a photo as you will find of Dave Bancroft. The Hall of Fame infielder is shown following through on his swing, interestingly with what looks to be his fielders glove in his back pocket. Crystal clear shot is not marked as such but is of Charles Conlon quality and the 8x9.75" relic has one tear in the bottom right corner fixed with tape on the reverse, a couple of pinholes at the edges and minor creasing. Name is written on back in pencil; this originates from the Brown Brothers photo collection. Lot is accompanied by PSA letter which identifies it as a Type I.
