Vintage 1949 New York Yankees sample championship ring. Far from the gaudy designs of today, this simple yet elegant design has a real diamond in the center, with New York Yankees World Champions around the bezel, and each shank having identical 1949 and Yankees top hat logo design. "Joe Page" is engraved inside, stamped Balfour 14k, size 9 1/2. Page was a key reliever on that Bronx Bombers squad, leading the league with 60 appearances; he also would have led the league with 27 saves in the era before the stat was officially kept. Ring remains in NRMT condition.
