Important and extremely rare, are badges with original strings attached enabling the holder to attend several areas of the racetrack. 1) For the 1890 season, badge No. 86 along with a seven page booklet containing 25 tickets each stamped 86 and separately numbered 1-25 (2 items). 2) For 1892, a compliment card from the Monmouth Association is included with a badge numbered 485. A booklet of six pages contains admission tickets 1-24 with each stamped 485 (3 items). 3) Lastly, for the 1893 season, badge 278 has fifteen tickets separately attached to the back for the first half of the season, July 3, to July 19 and numbered. For the remainder of the racing season, July 20 to August 5, badge number 754 also has fifteen tickets numbered 1-15 (2 items). In addition to strings intact, all the badges and tickets are in superb, NM-MT condition. Some or all are probably unique as it is highly unlikely these badges or tickets exist elsewhere today.
