Very important award comes directly from recipient Jack Lambert. In celebration of the National Football League's 75th Anniversary in 1994, a collection of the best players in gridiron history were selected by the league. A total of 68 icons were selected, with Lambert standing among seven linebackers for his spectacular 11-year tenure with the Pittsburgh Steelers. An octagonal wood base supports a group of six players stand on a green background, and three plates affixed to the front side of the base laud the recipient as follows; 1) Dominant linebacker of mid-'70s, '80s. Two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year (1976, 1979). Had 28 career interceptions, 15 fumble recoveries. In six AFC title games, four Super Bowls. 2) 75th Anniversary All Time Team, with logo. 3) Jack Lambert - Pittsburgh Steelers - Linebacker - 1974-1985. The Pittsburgh icon has signed the green platform in crisp gold Sharpie with HOF '90 inscription. Wood base measures 8" across and 4" high, trophy stands 11" tall from base to top, Zweigle lable on bottom of the base. Lambert joined the likes of Jim Brown, Gayle Sayers, Jerry Rice, Reggie White, and many more as the best at his position, and was further recognized as part of the NFL's 100th Anniversary Team in 2019.
