Well used Jack Lambert Kent State 1972 Tangerine Bowl Watch, awarded to the Kent State players in the game. The 1972 season culminated in the first and only Mid-American Conference championship title for the Golden Flashes to date, and with it came a trip to the Tangerine Bowl in Orlando, Florida, on January 29. Shows nice use, face of this Caravelle watch has MAC champs logo above "Tangerine Bowl 1972" and Lambert's name is engraved on back. Needs a little work to get it running, comes with well-worn original leather band and has a few scratches here and there but otherwise EX. A late rally was not enough as Kent State fell to the University of Tampa by a 21-18 count, though Lambert was named Defensive Lineman of the Game. Fun fact - one of his Tampa opponents in that game was "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff, who would achieve worldwide pro wrestling fame and headline the very first Wrestlemania.
