The citizens of Syracuse are proud of your outstanding achievement as an athlete and a sportsman. We also pay tribute to your excellent record as a student and a gentleman. This commendation carries all best wishes for your future from the entire Syracuse Community." Also included is an LOA originally sent to Ed Sullivan dated November 25, 1960; award and letter are signed by Thomas Smith, Syracuse Chamber of Commerce President.
