Hall of Famer Mike Modano was the owner of this game worn CCM helmet during the Dallas Stars' 1998-99 Stanley Cup season. White home helmet has Stars decals on both sides, with number 9, red/white/blue ribbon, and NHL crest decals on back. Number 9 is written in black marker on the inside padding, which is separating in some spots, a common feature of these CCM helmets. Great use displayed with sweat stains and scratches, signed in gold Sharpie behind the left ear; some small scratches to the signature are evident. Arguably the greatest American-born player in NHL history, Modano played all but one of his 21 seasons for the Minnesota North Stars/Dallas Stars franchise. Comes with Team LOA.
Addendum: The helmet was actually worn by Modano during the 2001-02 season as the 9/11 ribbon decals were placed on the Stars' helmets for that season.
