Significant memento from one of the great NHL goalies of all time in this Bernie Parent goalie stick, used during the deciding game of the 1975 Stanley Cup Finals. After Parent stood tall in a 2-0 shutout to give the Philadelphia Flyers the clinching win over the Buffalo Sabres in Game 6, a number of players dropped their sticks on the ice to celebrate; the sticks were then picked up and kept by a Sabres employee. This is one of those sticks, used by the man who earned the Conn Smythe Trophy as MVP of the finals, his second in as many years. All original tape on both ends of this Sher-Wood stick, which shows beautiful use and is uncracked. One of the most important artifacts from Flyers history and the last time they hoisted the Cup, Parent's name and number 1 are stamped on the shaft. Though the Broad Street Bullies were no strangers to the penalty box, and the Sabres featured the high-flying "French Connection" line, Bernie stood tall under siege, allowing just 12 goals over the six games.
