Rare and fun 1970s hockey jersey game worn by Jim Nichols of the Cincinnati Swords. Since the Swords were only in the American Hockey League for three seasons - from 1971 through 1974 - this qualifies as a rare offering. All original with great use; team repairs, burns, stick marks, paint transfers, blood stains, pilling; Rawlings size 46 tag inside tail along with Al Dekdebrun Sporting Goods tag. Cincinnati was an affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres, as evidenced by the crossed swords crest across the chest (patterned from the Sabres logo of the era), with number 11 on both sleeves and back in blue-on-gold tackle twill. Great artifact from the era popularized by the movie, Slap Shot.
